Across Europe, and beyond, the momentum is clear: end-of-life choice is increasingly understood as a matter of autonomy, compassion, dignity, and human rights. \ud83c\udf0dVoluntary Assisted Euthanasia is not about treating life lightly. It recognises that, in the most difficult circumstances, individuals should be trusted to make informed decisions about their own suffering, their own body, and their own final chapter.It is not about abandoning care. It is about expanding it. The best possible palliative care must always be available, strengthened, and supported. But for some, even the best care cannot remove physical or psychological suffering they personally find intolerable.
