We welcome the adoption of an important resolution by the Council of Europe Parliamentary Assembly, calling for a ban on conversion practices.![]()
Humanists Malta lobbied MPs representing Malta to support this resolution, alongside humanist organisations across Europe who similarly engaged their own representatives, in the face of a concerted campaign by a group trying to bring anti-trans discourse to Europe.![]()
This is an important step towards safeguarding human dignity, bodily autonomy, and the rights of LGBTQ+ people across Europe.![]()

We are at the MFCC Weddings Fair, starting today through to Sunday… drop by and come say hello!
Love is lived through tenderness, honesty, and choice... and your ceremony should reflect that.![]()
Humanist weddings are written around your story: meet your celebrant, explore what matters to you, and shape a ceremony that feels personal and true. Every detail is crafted with respect, autonomy, and shared values — edited until it feels just right ❤️![]()

January is Ramon Casha Month 🤍![]()
This month, we remember Ramon Casha, our late Chairperson, and honour the values he stood for throughout his life: compassion, education, and respect for human dignity.![]()
Ramon believed deeply in education as a tool for empowerment. In his memory, the Ramon Casha Scholarship Fund supports migrant women in Malta to access education and build a better future for themselves and their families.![]()
One scholarship recipient once shared:
“It was not only the books and materials I acquired, but also the access to knowledge which I am using to achieve my goal. Thanks to your support, I am a step closer to fulfilling my dream.”
(Shared anonymously)![]()
This is the kind of impact Ramon cared about. Practical support that changes lives.![]()
If you believe in education as a human right, we invite you to donate and help us keep this fund alive.![]()

Humanists Malta stands in solidarity with Voice For Choice - L-għażla tagħha, who yesterday, 24 January, sent an open letter to Robert Abela calling for the decriminalisation of abortion in Malta.![]()
Criminalising abortion does not prevent abortions. It only increases harm, stigma, and fear.
A humane, evidence-based society must place people’s health, dignity, and autonomy at the centre of its laws.![]()
We urge the Prime Minister and Parliament to listen to civil society and take meaningful steps towards decriminalisation and reproductive justice.![]()
